I have had a passion for interiors since I was in high school. My interior styling career really started as a labor of love for my own homes and vacation rentals. My sister was my initial client. She bought her first home for a pittance and asked if my husband and I would help her with the remodel and decoration on a shoe string budget. We agreed and gave ourselves two weeks to complete the project. Beforehand I scoured secondhand and vintage stores, spray painted light fixtures, and ordered supplies. We whirl-winded through the process and couldn't believe the transformation that took place. What was once a run-down, dilapidated home was now filled with cozy character. Slowly, friends who would come to my home began to ask me to help them with their interiors. First a local business owner in town asked if I could come help choose paint colors for her office building. Then another professional asked if I could come to her office to provide interior decorating advice. One thing led to another and I began professionally decorating homes in Whatcom County.
